How to login to WebAdvisor

1. Find User ID and Password:

o Access the Internet from any Internet-equipped computer.

o Enter http://wa.tccd.edu, press Enter.

o Click on WebAdvisor ID and Password Help  (lower right side link)


 

2. Locate your User ID:

o Click on What's my User ID?

o Enter your Last Name, Social Security Number or Colleague ID and click Submit.

o Make note of your User ID. (i.e. john.smith or john.smith12345)


 

3. Log in using your Default Password:

o Click on Log In tab

o Enter your User ID and the LAST SIX digits of your Social Security Number and click Submit.

o This is your Default Password; it’s recommended that you change your password but it isn’t required.  

I do not recommend that you change it... You are not likely to forget your SSN........ Don Lewis
 

4. Change Your Password:

o Repeat STEP 1

o Click on Change password.

o Enter User Name and Old or Temporary Password

o Enter New Password and Confirm New Password
   New Password must be 6 to 9 characters in length and include both letters and numbers.

o Enter Password Hint and click Submit.
 

5. Forgot Your Password:

o Repeat STEP 1

o For your password hint:

o Click on What’s My Password?

o Click on My Password Hint

o Enter your User ID, click Submit.
If your Password Hint isn’t listed or if it doesn’t help, proceed to What’s my password.

o If you can’t remember your password:

o Click on What’s My Password?

o Click on My Password

o Enter Last Name, Social Security Number or Colleague ID and click Submit.

o Select your email address from the pull-down menu and click Submit to send a temporary password to your email address.
If your e-mail address isn’t on record, please call the Information Center at (817)515-8223.
 

6. Check or Change My Email Address:

o Log in and select Current Students.

o Select Address Change.

o Confirm or update Email Address Field and click Submit.
 

7. Log out

o If you are using a public computer, please remember to select Log Out to protect your student information.
